sniffy monitors network traffic for media hosting websites and streams them in your favourite media player. It aims to keep out of your way and help rid the world of Flash. It works in conjunction with any web browser, even Lynx.
Musictube is a YouTube music player. With it you can listen to millions of songs on YouTube in a convenient way, much like using a traditional player. Musictube plays album tracks in their original order and integrates album covers, artist pictures and lyrics.
Using YouTube as a music library is a nice bit of lateral thinking. I like the fact that you can choose ‘live’ and ‘cover’ modes to listen to alternate versions of songs, too.
