An extension for Safari and Chrome that ranks and filters items in your Google Reader inbox according to their popularity on various social networks.
It works brilliantly on high traffic feeds with a dodgy signal to noise ration, like Pinboard/del.ico.us tags or sub-Reddits—the kind of stuff you want to skim through, river of news style rather than actively read, item by item.
dotjs
dotjs is a Google Chrome extension that executes JavaScript files in
~/.jsbased on their filename. If you navigate to http://www.google.com/, dotjs will execute~/.js/google.com.js. This makes it super easy to spruce up your favorite pages using JavaScript.
As a bonus, all the files in ~/.js have access to jQuery.
A new (to me) treat for users of Google Chrome Canary:
Swipe down with three fingers on your trackpad to see an overview of all your tabs. Click on a thumbnail to select it. Works great in fullscreen mode.
Reminds me of WebOS’s approach to multitasking.

Chrome and chromium have some interesting experimental settings that you can tinker with by typing about:flags in the URL bar.
