Duck Duck Go
Duck Duck Go has been my default search engine for the last week—it’s fast, keyboard-controlled, respects the privacy of users, lets you narrow results to a specific site very easily and the ‘zero-click info’ feature saves time.
More importantly, the results are good. Good enough to lure me away from Google? Not yet. But it’s well worth a try.
The default Duck Duck Go style is a little cartoony, but you can clean away the visual distractions on the settings page or, cleverly, by passing URL parameters.
